The situations which were prevailing during that point of time and how the railways was started and for it as used. The children also got to see the 163 years of rich Indian Railway’s historic heritage in the company of rare steam, diesel and electric locos, royal saloons and lots of artifacts. Interactive display will enhance the experience of visitors and make them understand how a single investment of Indian Railway helped in unification and progress of India as a nation.

The collection also involves documents, maps, drawings, books and other documentation belonging to the more than 160 years of Indian Railway and a large collection of Steam Locomotive made of Iron and Steel and also wooden coaches collected across the country.

Children saw through their own eyes how big the world can be, they also realised what a determined group of people can make, such wonders of technology.

The visit was very informative and knowledge gaining and the children enjoyed it.
